The city has around 40 well-maintained, kid-tastic parks that are made for active play. The newest—at Osuna and Vista del Norte—was unveiled just days ago, and it boasts the longest kiddie zipline in Albuquerque.
We’re lucky when it comes to libraries…because, not only can your child explore the wide and wonderful world of reading with access to thousands and thousands of books, he or she can also get involved in any of our libraries’ free events. Storytimes, music classes, hands-on crafting opportunities, and science shenanigans are just a few of the awesome options.
Many of the city’s museums open their doors to little ones (and their families!) for free at least once a month. See some art, delve into history, experience a balloon’s gondola, hear live music…yep, it all costs you nada.
